Questions about estimates and quotes
Do quotes count toward the 5 free invoices a month?
No. Only invoices count toward the Free Starter limit of 5 a month. Quotes and estimates are sent on the free plan without using that allowance.
Can my client sign the quote?
Yes, on Creator Pro. Download the quote as a PDF, upload it in document signing, place the signature fields and send it. The signed PDF comes back with an audit trail page.
What is the difference between an estimate and a quote?
An estimate is a best guess at the cost, and a quote is a fixed price for a set scope, usually valid for a limited time. BillingOtter sends both from the same screen, with a valid-until date.
Which currencies can I quote in?
Quotes can be in US dollars, euros or British pounds.
